Aspects of Care

Contact with a preferred Christian Science practitioner is available all times.

The Manager or Head of Care will arrange for any requirement that a resident may have - and these include the services of an optician, dentist, chiropodist, hearing aid specialist, and also personal shopping.

Christian Science nursing
In line with Christian Science teaching and practice, Beechfield is registered as a home free from medical intervention. It is a care home and not a nursing home or a Christian Science nursing facility such as Charton Manor or Limetree House.

Residents requiring Christian Science nursing care would normally be cared for at one of the Christian Science nursing facilities, or depending on need, by a private duty Christian Science nurse at Beechfield.

Beechfield fees do not cover private duty nursing care, which is charged by the Christian Science nurse directly to the resident
