Activities

Beechfield aims to provide a flexible mixed programme of activities. These tend to reflect the interests of the residents and so are under continual review.

Our current programme includes: talks, poetry readings, music and live entertainment, film shows, arts and crafts, and outings to local beauty spots and exhibitions - these usually include afternoon tea.

We also have regular visits from a local PAT (Pets as Therapy) dog - and a cat which belongs to the Activities Co-ordinator.

We hold an annual Summer Garden Party at which artwork made by the residents is sold - Christmas cards, jewelry, and items made with dried flowers.

We welcome volunteers to help with activities and outings.
